We made it to Beijing!

We have arrived! The flight wasn't bad at all. Michael slept pretty much the whole time and I dozed and watched tv. We have a super sweet guide who met us at the airport and will be showing us the sights for the next couple of days. I am amazed at how quiet the airport and city are. Our hotel is in the city center and the only noise that I hear is the sound of the fountain out front. There are cars and buses everywhere, but sounds nothing like New York or Chicago.

Now it is time to eat, bathe, and sleep:-)
